Mud Mee

We have just listed an interesting book in Thai on mud mee textiles. Mud mee weaving is a weft ikat technique using a dye resistance on the yarn before weaving. The effect from this is to produce different shades of colors. Threads, when spooled on the weft and woven, create a pattern, which creates the effect of mud mee.
