Distilling the best papers from our Washington and Istanbul ICOC conferences into a single book was a herculean effort by Tom Farnham, Chair of the ICOC Publication Committee, and his dedicated team of editors and readers. Kudos for their efforts. Liz Dixon has taken all the pieces and made them sing in a well orchestrated composition of images and text. The improvement of quality in papers selected for our events is a high priority for ICOC. Academic Chair Alberto Boralevi and his Committee have made great strides.
